In a very competitive world, when you work as a Fullstack Developer is more important how comfortable you feel in challenging situations than the programming language you need to use. I like to solve problems and challenge complex situations, sometimes the solution is not using the technologies you know, but at that moment is when you must learn new stuffs and apply all the knowledge from past experiences. I’m always open to learning new technologies, even if I have never used before.

I created different templates for technical interviews, not just theoretical questions, but also code challenges exercises and also complex scenarios where the candidates had to use their past experience to give a possible solution. Use of Big Queries (Google Workspace) to analyze the behavior of the candidates. Implement IA in the process of evaluating the technical assessments.

UNIVERSITY OF MISSOURITECHNICAL CONSULTANT
Served as a Python tutor and technical consultant for a PhD dissertation titled "Multi-Objective Decision-Making in Solid Waste Management Including Social Sustainability Considerations." The research utilized SwolfPy, an existing open-source Python package built on the SWOLF framework for modeling and optimizing solid waste management (SWM) systems. I provided guidance on extending SwolfPy to support additional decision-making criteria beyond cost and environmental impacts. This included advising on the design and implementation of a new class to perform multi-objective optimization, enabling simultaneous evaluation of multiple sustainability metrics. I also supported the development of Jupyter Notebook templates that integrate multi-objective optimization with multi-criteria decision analysis (MCDA), offering structured tools for stakeholder decision-making. Throughout the project, I provided strategic input on improving computational performance, including the use of database-backed caching to reduce memory usage and accelerate optimization runs, ultimately achieving a fivefold increase in processing speed.

Implement different new features to the existing platform based on Symfony 5. Optimize and upgrade the code to improve the performance of the entire platform. Create environments to deploy applications before passing production using Heroku. Implementation of e-commerce based on React, using the existing platform as backend and creating additional modules to work with the new requirements. Lead junior developers guiding them to code with best practices and help with the requirements when they were not clear or complex.

Work for different clients in different projects mainly based on PHP 5+, most of them implementing new features or working on bug-fixes to improve the performance of the application. As this company is nearshore, sometimes I had to participate in bootcamps as a previous process before start a new project, learning new technologies or improving the ones I already know.

DUREXPORTASASTAFF SOFTWARE DEVELOPER
Implementation of the whole application for the company using Symfony Framework, modeling all the different processes in the different areas of the company, saving all the information necessary to create complete reports using Jaspersoft, dashboards and real time data which was used to take important decisions in the company, the information was stored in three different database engines: Posgres, Mysql and SQL server. Create API and middleware to communicate hardware stuffs with the application, most of the scripts and code were done using python running in Ardruino or Raspberry modules.
2016 – 2020
HOSPITAL TEODORO MALDONADO CARBO IESSSYSTEM ANALYST
Implementation of multiple applications for different areas of the Hospital: medical, accounting, reporting, planning, notification systems, self-service stations. Create backups of all the applications and create the respective mechanisms to roll back the applications in case of necessary. Management of the applications servers, update, upgrade and migrate the different versions of the programming languages or frameworks. The backend was done in Java and PHP, using Symfony as main framework, I have to migrate into some versions while I managed the applications starting with Symfony 2.8 and moving to 3 and finally to 5 version. For the reporting part I implemented a version of Jaspersoft to use reports in a fast way. The databases were Postgres and Mysql. I also implemented some instances of opensources for helpdesk software using vTiger and GLPI.
